I'm really amused by all the "imagery" in the wallpaper. Hehe, beautiful work you easily breeze past it with all the stunning colors and dynamic pose.

From a distance I thought this was an African painting. I really like how it mixes modern life with a tribal feel. Also the smoothness of the oil is very stunning, especially the wall paper. That much detail must have taken you some time. Even the detail on the vacuum and veins in her foot...something so ignored takes an artist so long. Congrats

Definitely getting a "Yellow Wallpaper" vibe. Fantastic job, wonderful intensity in the colors, and portrayal of emotion.
Wonderful vision. It's so horrible. But that's what's expected. Again, amazing job!

Wow!  Wonderful use of...everything!  Color, lighting, mood, details.  Even better, it's in traditional media!

Hey, I used one of those vacuums before, and I did that with the hose too.  It made me feel like a Ghostbuster.

At first glance I thought this was a stylization of a Hindu goddess. It's amazing!

Just to the left of her at the bottom of the wallpaper is some quite sexual imagery while to the right is some quite monstrous imagery. I loving these subtle glances into her emotions(?) through something as mundane and overlooked as wallpaper. Very clever indeed! It reminds me of The Yellow Wallpaper, a short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

You're so right! Very sexual poses clearly of her (same red heels) and on the right there are some teethy eyeless monsters that look very vicious. I would not have noticed it unless you pointed it out :-)

Yes to the yellow wallpaper! It did not remind me of that at first, but now that you mention it it is similar in concept but I think this is less disturbing and more melancholy. Which is interesting because of the bright joyful colours used it is deceiving but the entire mood is central to her expression.
