Welcome to Day 2 of 3D Week at Project Educate. Hanging in there?

Introducing the Library!

Don't forget to check the =3D Week Announcement= regularly for updates on events and contests, we've got a lot on this week!

Today's event was advertised as a 'Book List', but we can do WAY better than that between us:D

The Library is going to combine the best resources for 3D artists that we can find!

I can hear you groan "Oh no, not another group!". Although it's set up as a group, it isn't a group per say. You can't join it and you can't contribute art to it. It will purely be a resource list, outlining only resources which have been tried and tested.

You can however add it to your watch list if you want to get updates as-they-come.

This project really revolves around you guys, and it's something that will be maintained and updated regularly. The Library journal post is going to be a list of the best tutorials and books we can find for 3D artists. It will be updated regularly, and occasionally, random prizes will be given for good finds.

I have two prizes of 500 points to give away to the best two resources I'm told about this week.
You can suggest as many resources as you want (but make them really good ones), but you can't win both of this week's prizes, which will be given to two individual people and announced in Sunday's wrap-up journal!

You can either reply here, on the library page, or send me a note :D

It's still a bit raw, but as the project is all about you guys, I just filled in a few preliminary entries to give you guys the right idea! You know know the title of every resource book I own ;)

[link] - probably largest collection of blueprints out there
[link] - free 3d models (mostly furniture)
[link] - Education and Training for the VFX Industry (composition, Maya etc.)
:iconathey: ([link]) - she has some great tutorials (UV, modeling...)
[link] - mostly video tutorials (modeling, sculpting, rendering, lighting...)

That's all for now, I'll add more if I remember. :)
