Here's this month's challenge:
Create a tradition-themed 3D artwork, submit it to our contest gallery by 11.59pm, 31 December 2011 to be in to win! (Here it is in your local time, just scroll down for your capital city).

Criteria:
You will be judged on the following criteria, so make sure you think carefully about each of them while creating your masterpiece:
How well your submission relates to the theme
The overall technical difficulty of your creation
General aesthetics (How nice it looks as a whole)
Creativity and originality
Rules:
All entries must be submitted to the 3D contest gallery in the community relations group
Submissions close on 31 December 2011 11.59pm GMT. The timestamp from the group gallery submission (link) will be taken as the submission time, NOT the time your item is uploaded to DeviantArt
The main feature of your work must be in 3D and the overall piece must not be completely painted over (some post effects and tweaks are OK but you must be able to provide a wireframe and the original render on request)
Your deviation description must have a link back to this journal.
You may submit up to 2 entries to this contest.
All entries must have been submitted to DeviantArt after the timestamp on this journal.
