I guess this turns in a half-yearly update so let me just do a short writeup of actual News I got to share:
1) My itch.io SHOP has been up for half a year now.
I managed to release about one new assetpack every month since I started.
Keep in mind that you always can contact me if you got ideas for assetpacks.
The sales really help with keeping up the creation of new assetpacks and tutorials next to my freelance work.
Currently I released an RPG base Assetpack which will be cheaper for the next day.
2) My MAILING LIST:
It turned out that I very rarely use it, just for super important announcements.
1) I just wanted to let you know, that I set up an itch.io shop, where I sell some gameart assets, mainly for indiedev.
you can visi it via this link:
I also made an "Easter Sale", for the next day, where everything in the shop is 30% off, so if you want something, right now is the best time to buy it.
2) The second big news is that I set up a mailing-list.
I occassionally mentioned it, however if you want to get the really important updates from me right in your inbox, this is the best way, because it's also independent from any platform.
I only will use it rarely for important announcements (like
I posted some stuff today
But If you follow me actively here, really consider following me on Twitter, it's really much more active.
My Deviantart is quite dead compared to my Twitter and I don't think it will change over the next months (I still wil upload the highlights here), mainly because Twitter is much faster and a lot less complicated to use in everyday life.
I will try to upload stuff faster here, than with the 6 month gap inbetween I just had.
But I have been super short on time the last months, because of the imminent release of my own game Tower 57 and the announcement of Wayforward's new The Mummy Demastered Metroidvania for
I just wanted to put up a quick note that thanks to 11Bit Studios I will be visiting this years PAX-West as an exhibitor.
If you are there and want to say hello, stop by at our booth - I will be there with a playable dev-build of the game and if I am around, i should have time for a chat chat.
I also haven't been uploading a lot on DA during the last months, because the development on Tower 57 is basically eating up most of my time and aside from sketches I only made some things which are still in the WIP stage.
There have been some more updates on tower as well but the most important one is most likely the last one we published on our hom
I wanted to share some news with you regarding my game Tower 57.
We will move from alpha to Beta soon. Benito wrote a news article in which he shows of a ton of the the new things we added to the game.
Everything is shaping up really nicely and soon our biggest concerns will be content & polish.

Twitch Pixelart Streams
First I wanted to start with an announcement with a thing I avoided successfully for a long time:
I finally moved my Pixelart-Livestreams from Picarto to Twitch.
I literally just set up the channel there and tested out if everything works, haven't done more so far, but looking forward to the first stream, whenever this will happen.
„Will there finally be any scheduled streams?“
That is the big unknown left I have to figure out. The streams definitely would benefit from it, but I don't have any idea when I should host them and I am open for suggestions.
The last week stuff has been moving very slowly back to normal. Despite I was every day busy with moving things to the new flat or sorting through the things I moved, I finally got some of my cupboards back and the new room I chose for my office keeps feeling more and more like a place i can stay for the next months, despite I keep having little accidents.
This morning I ran out of toilet paper, because I totally overlooked to buy a new pack and the coffee machine got damaged during the move, so I walk around with the same speed as a zombie during the morning hours.
What's much harder is that for the new float to leave beloved Rico, our fa
The last 2 weeks have been really quiet on my end (at least regarding the internet) and this is all due to some crazy happenings.
In short: I got kicked out of my rented rooms.
The house I lived in was owned by my mom's friend and got renovated by all 3 of us about 2.5 years ago – I helped back then because of the promise that I could rent the unused rooms in the upper floors as long as I wanted - and that's where I spent the last years.
The relationship between my mom and her friend hasn't been the best over the last months and both of us already were already looking for new places to live.
On November 21st I left my home with my
Tower 57 got successfully funded via Kickstarter 10 days ago.
It's really great, inspirative and also a little bit scary that I finally can focus on an own game project and I will try to make it to the best thing I possibly can.
This means the coming months I will be completely busy with getting all of the work done for it.
It's a completely new experience to me to not just "getting tasks done and paid for it", it's like you can make what you really want within the given timeframe, but you have to keep the unevitable point of time in mind where you might run out of money and have to go back to taking up freelance jobs - luckily
Oh man Time is flying by.
I haven't had a similarly crazy month since I am through my final exams.
Actually I planned to upload a lot more here during the campaign, but actually I have been more than busy just with getting PR stuff covered.
However we managed to write at least every day 1 new Update on our Kickstarter Page: Click to visit them
A lot of stuff actually was done via livestream, whihc I completely forgot to announce here, but if you don't already know that I am streaming and you want to see it at one point I'd suggest you to follow me via Picarto
I also just uploaded a lil something on the page and just wanted to give all of
Today we announced the first playable female character, who is called "The Scientist"
you can read more about her HERE
The Kickstarter Campaign is moving along well and Benito and I spent a lot of time with writing to the press and getting the word out there.
Our efforts already showed off, because at the current point we already broke through 30% funding.
That's already big step forward and we might be on a good way, if we don't give up to tell people about the project.
A big thanks to you and all our efforts with sharing the game and spreading the word.
If you want to help us, please keep up spreading the word and tellin
