TT - Towerwings Transport

The Towers have been designed to function as self-sufficient cities. And a part of that design was its own interconnectivity, a transportation system for both public and private use.
While each level of the Tower represents its own caste, strictly controlled by elevators, the level itself can be traveled quickly by using a monorail system.

I have a project I've been slowly designing since 2010. I'm creating a small universe to use in a set of animations, games and game-comics. Some part of it has a a steam punk subtheme, and I tried very hard to create a monorail similar to yours. 

I could certainly use pixelart in some games of this universe as well.  My intention is to release something next year - and probably something for wii U or even ps4 depending on their support for indies. For that I need to rework the planning and budgeting.

Nice, must post this on Retronator! Just checked out IndieDB, it's coming together nicely. Twitter, IndieDB & TIG are the places where you post about the game? So I'm not missing anything when writing the feature. :D (Big Grin)

Yeah we achieved a lot the last 2 weeks, but there is still quite a long way to go =)
We post the devlog at IndieDB and TIGsource as well as on a few other places, and the last weeks we set up the Twitter-Account and a very special mailing list with some exclusive insights for everyone who is really interested in the project (earlier updates, a bit more material and crowdfunding information)

It reminds me a bit of Bioshock Infinite: Burial at sea, but it's still bad ass ^^ Keep up the good work :3

Sure, it's definitely Art-Deko. We chose that style for tower because it's the artstyle some famous skyscrapers (e.g. Empire State Building / Chrysler Building) feature and it seemed really fitting for a game which takes place in a huge megatower =)
Sadly there isn't a lot of stuff around which features that artstyle, except Bladerunner and Bioshock there isn't a lot more around which has more than "influences".
