Another topic popped up at pixelation, where a beginner posted a rock/stone column.
Thought it's a nice follow-up to the observational rock tutorial I did earlier this month.

this is the Pixelation thread:

I was just wondering, what did you use to draw this?

an intuos 4
gimp 2.6.12

but would be possible with photoshop, graphicsgale, pyxeledit etc. and a mouse as well.

Hi, I really love your work.

I was wondering if you could help me get on the right path to become as good as you, so that I can make games.

What exactly do you mean by hue/saturation base?
Cyangmou's avatar
there is a HS color room which has instead of values for red green and blue like in the RGB spectrum Hue Value and Saturation to describe colors via numbers.
hue / Saturation base means the area the colors I chose are.

I know what Hue/Saturation/Value is, but I do not understand what you mean to do.
