So I`ve spent the past year drawing about 75 pages of manga and completely neglecting my deviant art account.
If there is anyone still reading my virtually non-existant journal posts you have my thanks.
Anyway, the point... I`m about ready to start uploading the work I`ve been doing for the past year, but it`s predominantly manga pages and I feel like the majority of my subscribers subscribed back when I was posting photography so I`m thinking it might be a good idea to start a new account.
Basically cwfineart will be dedicated to photography, and a my new account (likely to be called yazukiwolf) will be dedicated to manga and comic illust

Summer Vacation

I should be finishing up the tone work on my 16 page manga right now, but after 6 straight hours of 3D modeling in Maya I can't seem to bring my brain to engage in any other work.
It's my summer vacation, and though that may sound like I would have some free time. The truth is... I don't.
In addition to constantly searching for a part time jobs to pay the bills I also have a huge load of homework.

I was watching your youtube practice sketch with corel painter, really awesome work mate. I was wondering, how do you rotate the canvas while you work like that, it looks like a 3d canvas. I was unable to find any feature like that in mine. 
Thanks, I`ve been meaning to make some newer youtube videos, but just too busy with deadlines and life right now to get to it.
Anyway I have the rotation key programed into my tablet and so I can`t remember exactly but I think you press the E key to get the rotation function. This is in Painter X (not sure about other versions)

I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I can't seem to get my canvas to show in 3d like you did, but the E key definitely gave me the ability to rotate the canvas which is good enough for me! Thanks again.
