The client asked for an illustration of He-Man with a classic painted style. I'm a huge Jack Kirby fan, so I thought it was the perfect chance to pay homage to both MOTU and Kirby. I think the art of Jack Kirby would have been a perfect match to illustrate the MOTU comics.
