Description
A personal commission. The client wanted a portrait of Henry Cavill (the actual Superman from the upcoming movie) but with the classic Superman costume... lot of fun to paint!
I'm a big fan of all the classic superhero costumes, not much of the actual 'more realistic' costumes that we see on nowadays movies... but well, I think I'm an old fashioned and purist artist
I'm trying hard to finish all my previous delayed commissions (Dallas bud, you're next!) but I'm doing my best... please be patient with me

Good job here, Val. There's an actual portrait of Henry Cavill in the Christopher Reeve Superman suit that exists; it was more of a joke, really, as the suit Henry wore in "Man of Steel" is pretty rad.
