Appleseed

When I was younger, I was nuts about anything Shirow Masamune. I really loved the machinery, his great mechas designs, and the heroines of his stories (specially Mayor Kusanagi)... I was huge fan back then.
I saw recently Appleseed: Alpha... it was just ok. I've seen better animation in some videogame intros. The story is just meh... but what I really liked was the mecha designs and the machinery in general. Some really cool robots.
This is a tribute to that kind of drawings that I did a lot back then in my twenties... but I would love to start doing it all over again
