My rant (AKA everything wrong about this "fact" list
Many of the facts involving the older ponies are inaccurate. In the "films" you forgot "The end of flutter valley," (1986), which is weird as it should be there. The original toyline ran from 1983 to 1993 and it was rebooted in 1998, not 1995. The "My Little Pony n Friends" TV show (1984) should be mentioned but it's not. You mention one background character in the mane 6 poll. The smartest pony is not a random background character. Only idiots wouldn't know what a cutie mark is. Cutie marks don't come randomly as implied in your short sentence: The icons which appear on the ponies' bodies are called "cutie marks". Not every episode ends with Twilight sending a letter to Celestia, see any season past S4. You seem to have favoritism over Derpy. There are other background characters! What about Lyra or something! Ponyville is as old as Granny Smith and she is NOT hundreds of years old. The "Spirits" of ponies are actually what element of harmony they represent. There are more g1 releases than you mentioned. Seaponies, Princess ponies, pony friends, T.A.F, anyone catching on? The element of harmony colors seem to have been playing musical chairs and the wrong color gem is on 3 of the mane 6. The poll has false conclusions as Applejack is not the 3rd best pony, according to EVERY OTHER POLL on the internet.
