Caught this shot yesterday and couldn't believe it. As I'm shooting he turns his head a little and looks right at me. Look at those eyes! Definitely one of my favorite photographic moments thus far!
That's one fluffy bird, i'd ruffle its' feathers- too bad it'd tear my face off before i could even try.
What a gorgeous photo, one fine falcon captured fabulously on film. i am so glad that photographer is still around to publish this magnificent work. The way that guy is gazing, it looks as if he is one of those celebrities begin hassled by the paparazzi and about to dive on the intruder to smash the camera and pluck out some eyes for not having a release. The detail in the scene is spectacular.
Really a beautiful bird.
This is phenomenal! This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime pictures! And that eye! It's kinda surreal.
it just gives you chills and a warm feeling doesn't it?! This is a beautiful shot!
Wow that's a great shot!
Such detail in this capture. Was it a trained or Wild Falcon?
It was wild! Which is why it's such a lucky shot. It's the only time I've been able to get so close to one without it flying away! As I was taking this shot (and others) I heard someone else walking by say that it's often seen in trees along this path, so it must be pretty used to people taking pictures from the bottom of his trees?
Just perfect, amazing shot, in the right time *
So awesome!!!! It's a really beautiful animal!!!
It's most rewarding when a photographer gets a shot like that. Can't say I've been that lucky yet. Very cool photo, and thank you for sharing it.
Keep trying!! Just need to be in the right place at the right time!
That's epic! Congrats on a rare photo op!
I don't think I could stay still by such eye contact
it's a redtail hawk great pic!
