I just returned to DA after taking a lenghty break after Eclipse started.
I'm still figuring everything out, but I wanted to ask, if customization is still in any way possible for the profile and journals now and if people still make tutorials and posts on that or if it's really a lost case, as it felt, when it first started?
Still grieving how much amazing work was rendered useless with this... x-x
Maybe somebody sees this and can talk to me a bit about how stuff has changed and what is possible now. I feel pretty alone here rn, idk where to even start trying. But I'd be very grateful if somebody was up to fill me in or for sporadic lighthearted contact even. <3

Thankfully the old format I used for bio are still working in my other account.
But editing it didn't work since everything shows up all cleared when I click to edit.
Things I figured out for editing journals and profile (bio) were..
Editing them are very limited now.
- You cannot center texts you write down.
- html or source code doesn't work anymore
- Images will not be able to placed next to each other nor next to text (but you can place images like gallery format)
I'm not sure if upgrading to core will unlock those features, but it's still sad customizing posts are very limited now.

Really? How did you do that? When Eclipse first came my entire profile was wrecked tbh.

Not as fabulous as some others, I know, but I just got into coding just before Eclipse came. xP
Also all my journals. Couldn't look at them, deleted them all.
But apparently I was not mistaken that that's all gone now, then and there's no new options. :'(
the people behind this websites current layout could really learn from this group. looking forward to it
