Ironman statue creation 2

I've always been a big fan for MARVEL's IRONMAN and wanted to make a sculpture of my fav superhero. If you noticed i've actually chosen Adi granov's version of the iroman armour. i felt his ironman would look pretty cool in 3D.. and made my own changes to the suit. playin around added chunker legs and arms. makin it alittle more japanese mecha like, also pumped it up alittle, so it'll be alittle bigger standing nexts to cap.. but i thot i'll stick to the more normal lookin ironman.

Adi Granov's Armour by far is the most interesting because of it's armour history. The original Design was actually concieved by this Artist called Michael Ryan. he's really cool as well.. he added lots of fresh new elements to the armour like palm and shoe tracks to aid friction in his grip. after Michael Ryan left the book.. and other artist stepped in and took a stab at drawing his armour. Each one of them added their own touches to the suit according to their style yet retaining Ryan's major designs of the armour.. it was pretty fun to see an artist's version of another artist's design. finally Adi stepped in and did some major make over without sacrifing much of Michael Ryan's original concept. today u can see the similarites of the two design. They are both awesome.

so now i'm continuing tradition and taking Adi and Ryan's Armour and puttin in some of my own design in it. addin a touch of asian mecha stuff in the legs. making his face plate alittle flatter. whatcha guys think?
