Part 4: Cliffhanger
As every wise engine on the Culdee Fell Mountain Railway knows is that you should always keep a good look out and to never take any dangerous risks. While the railway still serves as a tourist destination, it is also a railway that must always take great care and responsibility when climbing up and down the mountain.
For they all knew that if an engine doesn’t keep a good look out, then an engine should derail off the line and should the worst ever happen, they could tumble down the mountain ending up damage and far beyond repair.
This was in fact what happened to Godred, the Culdee Fell Railway’s no 1 engine, when Culdee told the engines of the Skarloey Railway his story, years ago, when he didn’t keep a good look out and tumbled down the mount
