I was never any good at scratchboard. This is awesome. Never thought about doing fur even though it seems to obvious and natural.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I don't come on here that often anymore. The material I used is called scratch board. There are many different kinds and textures that you can get. I used a blank black with white under that was not textured and not pre printed. Also, I use a normal scratch knife. It did take me approx 4 months to complete because there was a lot of detail, and I was so scared of messing it up. If you are just starting with scratch board, you may want to start with one that is pre printed that you can get at any art store to practice before taking a leap into doing it from scratch.

I know how he/she did it.It was a special, buyble board, where you scrach it,making a silver line, according to the picture. This is a tiger.I have one like it,except its gold, and its at a side angle.I also had a wolf in the forest. How long he/she took probally only matters to their skill.
