Truth to what you just said above Csuhsux!  Similar thing happened to Vance Astro in the original run of Guardians of the Galaxy back in the mid-70's , locked inside his bodysuit or he would age a thousand years if opened,  he couldn't "hook up" with Nikki who was his squeeze at the time.
BTW:  Great drawing of Starshine and Rom in San Francisco! ;)

good point, i'm at least familiar enough about the Vance Astro character to know about that. Rogue from the X-Men has been in a similar dilemma with how she can't touch any body with out hurting them . thanks for the feed back i uploaded something else last weekend csuhsux.deviantart.com/art/ROM…

I'd forgotten Ol' Southern Comfort(tho i shouldn't call her "old" Sugar!)Still Gambit could care less about that,  Her kisses are to die for! (but it puts a serious crimp in their sex life.) :(
and yeah this bullshit between Marvel and Hasbro is ridiculous,  but while Marvel maybe interested,  You have to think on Hasbro is it worth it to go into production a character most people hardly if at all remember because even if Rom shows up on screen,  will ANYBODY care?!  (except us of course!)

well that's the problem hasbro did go into production with ROM in regards to that stupid heromug doll like you see him holding in the cartoon sketch that link goes to. but it's not a better toy i want what i want is for ROM to be able to be part of the marvel universe again. for that marvel would need permission from hasbro to legally use him in their comic book story lines but so far marvel can't/won't get that permission or hasbro isn't letting them do it. getting any straight answers about that from either marvel or hasbro has proven futile so far. the situation is just really irritating i even a couple times got in touch with some of the writers at marvel and suggested at least a brief appearance by ROM in human form and having him referred to only as prime director or greatest of the spaceknights so there's no likeness to the original toy but they won't even do that.

The devil is in the details,  and details usually means...MORE MONEY!  The problem for both companies is WHO will benefit most from Rom's return to the comic fold and is there enough fan support to warrant investing time and money on it!
Hmmm...Marvel had an easier time with Conan and Red Sonja,  Sword and Sorcery were a proven best seller and they didn't have any toy tie-ins to worry about.

that is an excellent point. but hasbro has already come up with one commemorative ROM product all on it's own so they must be aware of the continued fandom for the character (icertainly know marvel does). it really would be no skin off hasbro's back to just let marvel write stories with ROM in it which could be a good promotional tool for future ROM products. hasbro has nothing to lose by doing that nor does marvel and both companies stand to at least gain a little something in terms of sales and renewed interests among fans. but hey whatever that's why i say fuck em both i don't buy any new stuff from either company.

always good to see Rom and Starshine happy together!

well actually in the issue that takes place in San Francisco ROM and Starshine are in crisis as two people who are in love but can't really be together because they are both stuck as spaceknights. read this page from the issue www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPi…

Rom needed a scold on his shellhead. The important thing is being together.

well amigo, i'd like to here you say that after meeting the woman of your dreams while having been a cyborg for 200 years. which you means you can't fuck her of course. that would drive most guys crazy, even the greatest of the spaceknights.
