Information
Deviantart is switching the whole side to HTTPS, starting today. Therefore it may affect your journal skins, gallery skins and most probably custom widgets whose images are not saved on a secure site.This means that there will be skins who won't work correctly anymore. Only exception: Skins submitted as Easy.Install skins.
We, journalcss and CSS-Babes, can't do anything about it. You need to change the location of your images and then edit your skins in order to make them work again.

Heeeey I can't submit any deviations (but can submit a fav and journal entry, how great), is there something going on or did you guys do something wrong with the member permissions? Haha.Ok thanks for telling me!Also you can only submit to the group if you're a Babe or Hunk aka a contributor and for that you need CSS skins in your gallery.
Trying to set the colour using
.user-symbolwill just have it overwritten by dA's own stylesheet, so you need to target ::before and ::after instead..user-symbol::before { color: #fff; }will change the outside colour (the circle)..user-symbol::after { background: #000; }will change the inside colour (the star).And no, it's not necessary to switch these colours around for beta symbols.
PremiumCore and Beta still show up as opposite colours.Also don't try and set the inside colour to transparent, it'll just make it disappear.
I've been pulling my hair out about this since I logged on this morning so I hope this will help everyone else!
But thanks for sharing your fix. I don't know how the site will look next week. A mixture of anticipation and fear.
And it's a shame because I really liked the old icons, these ones not at all.
