The Great Starry Wave Of Kanagawa by csquaredisrippn The Great Starry Wave Of Kanagawa by csquaredisrippn
I really love these two paintings (The Starry Night - Vincent van Gogh and The Great Wave Of Kanagawa - Katsushika Hokusai) So I combined them.

Hi, this is really cool and I'm doing a school project on the great wave, and I was hoping to use this to show how Van Gogh was influenced by it? I obviously wouldn't use this without your permission or without citing you, but I don't really know how you'd like to be cited? (deviantart names probably don't count) If you don't get back to me before its due no biggie, I won't put it in without your permission and I'll just compare them side by side myself :) Once again this is super cool!

Hi there! This is an incredible piece and I am highly interested in purchasing a print of this work, if you are selling any/would be willing to discuss something like that? :) my best friend has always loved Van Gogh as long as I have known her, we're both art fanatics and I know she adores both of these original pieces, and I was hoping to surprise her with a print of the two masterpieces colliding in /your/ masterpiece <3

This is absolutely breathtaking. The two pieces integrate seamlessly into a new, equally stunning work of art. Beautiful!

If I buy this, no watermark is present right?

Correct. The watermark is just present to prevent art theft, such as someone downloading the image and uploading it somewhere else as their own. It won't be present on the print. :)

Unfortunately that has happened already. Recently found out a TUMBLR shared it without crediting me or the watermark. Had to file a DMCA against them. I have decided to put the image available in prints though.
