Well heres my entry into the contest Thought I'd give it a shot. Anyway these icons were all created in Adobe Illustrator so they are pieces of vector art at the same time as icons hehe . If you like the icons then feel free to leave me a comment

Top Left = My Computer - A PC with a leaf type wallpaper, used reds and tried to make the case look a bit more in tune with the colours of autumn
Top Middle = My Pictures - A Glassy folder with a photo of leaves falling down
Top Right = CD-ROM Drive - A CD-ROM drive made out of wood with a leaf logo (have an imagination here hehe )
Bottom Left = Adobe Photoshop - The photoshop symbol is a feather normally so I just made it look like a leaf
Bottom Middle = Recycle Bin Full - This is a tree full of leaves, the connection here is trees full with leaves like a PC being full with crap
Bottom Right = Recycle Bin Empty - This is naked tree, the connection here is the tree being clear of leaves from autumn like a PC being cleared of crap because of you
