Hahaha! I was a bit worried that you might get upset at me for giving you feedback when you weren't asking for it. Aw, that must have been so upsetting, you're working hard on a piece and then you realize you made a mistake but you couldn't fix it. At least it wasn't too major, I'm sure most won't even notice it. My mom was passing by when I was first looking at it and said that it looked awesome(she really liked the coloring too). My family really appreciates most art and we all drew at some point in our life(though I've only seen one thing my dad did and my mom was into fashion design so, most of her stuff was just sketches...). On the bright side whenever I run out of room in my sketchbook they go running out to get me a new one!
For the weapon, it can be pretty hard to get the character to hold it right at times. I'm not good at it myself.
I think everyone is constantly trying to find and improve their style. What I've seen of yours so far you seem to be very good at showing personality, pretty nice clothing designs and I just really like your style!
I find sketches and the slightly messy look to look really cool though.
My art is no where near your level.
Well, I don't read or watch a lot of sci-fi settings so, I might not be the best choice in asking.
Hmmm....
Well, in the setting it's in a apocalypse. Kuro is a scavenger who built his arm out of debris.
1)Since he's shown some skill why not say he built it himself as well.
2)Maybe it could be related to when he lost his arm. He doesn't seem to be the type who would know how to stop the wound(of losing an arm) from killing him by his self. The person who helped him could have given it as a gift and disappeared.
3)He could have sought someone to build it and put it in for his own reasons.
I'd also imagine that it might have some extra functions such as seeing further or something. Kind of like Rentaro Satomi from Black Bullet. Ah, but I don't know too many people who know of that series so, you might not know what I'm talking about... In the series he has his right leg and arm replaced after losing them, he mostly fights with martial arts and a gun but has terrible aim. Later on in the series in order to become stronger he replaces one of his eyes for a fake robotic one to help improve his aim dramatically. For more about the actual story:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Bu…Do those ideas help any?
Hahaha. I did say I wanted to see more of your work! Of course I'd watch you!
