Description
A while back, I was asked by a gentleman named Gerry Clarke to assist him with a story he was writing. It's two main characters were some of his favorite people in history. The Elephant Man and Ned Kelly. Believe it or not, the two had quite a bit in common.
The story is about how Ned Kelly's spirit would be freed from limbo and allowed into heaven if he were to act as a guardian angel for the suffering Joseph Merrick (the Elephant Man)
Here's a mockup I did of Ned's costume. I'll probably alter it a little, but it's a pretty good reference.

It looks very dramatic, which was Ned's desired effect! It's not historically accurate (I have seen the real armour a number of times) but it doesn't have to be to get the effect across.
I also have an interest in Ned Kelly and have been to Glennrowan where he had his last stand. It's pretty much a circus now but the field the inn was in is still field. A very odd place!
