Description
Portrait commission for Rashan of Nikita, one of the dragons in my Ante Meridiem painting.
I like painting dragon faces though I feel this might have lost a bit of liveliness in refining my brushstrokes too much. Still, I am happy with it, I do adore painting white dragons.
I'm sitting on a bunch of art at the moment that will be posted sooner or later, it's a delightful feeling.
I am insanely busy with painting in every breathing moment but this'll probably balance out the art I won't be able to do next year. I feel bad for not being able to reply to everyone but thank you!

Overall Vision Originality
Technique ImpactThis is a very nice piece of art indeed c: And I like the color-scheme a lot <3 But I do have some critique, too.
The mask is otherwise really well done except that it seems to have dug in the face at the cheek, making it look like it would be pretty painful to her. The cheeks have just squeezed out from where they can. Don't know if you meant it that way.
And the scales. They look good and you've definently spent time on them, but theyir shape and size vary a lot, even in places they shouldn't vary all that much. But well, scales are really hard to make :/
Also the forehead seems to be a bit high and as I look at the mask, I get an image of the head being really narrow and then the jaw being round like this [link]

Overall, I really like this picture, it's beautiful and I definently enjoy looking at it. Those are just things I find slightly annoying but I'm sure most don't really look at the slightest mistakes c:
