I really like the colouring of this, and the expression. The way you have done the scales looks very realistic to me - especially how they aren't even - and also his crest. I like it.

Now, dragons aren't my speciality, but it seems to me that his face is a little short? When I look closely he seems rather dog-like, without some of the lizard-like aspects a dragon should have. Also, I know it is a portrait but the angle/composition is not very original or interesting. The emotion conveyed does compensate for that comewhat, but I think that a different perspective would make this piece stand out even more.

But all in all, nice work.
