Renault Avantime by CRWPitman Renault Avantime by CRWPitman
Another contest, I decided to try and make the Avantime given to us a bit toned down. I personally think the Avantime is a bit much, so I added more of a hood, pushed back the windsheild, modified the greenhouse and added a new rear end.

Nice job... While I've necver been a Renault fan (actually owned a Le Car someyears back-- slammed and flamed, but a LeCar nonetheless)... But this makes it work. I wonder if it woulkd benefit from using the entire greenhouse (roof, windshield, side glass) from a Mini?? Just a thought....
Sincerely, nice work again.

Thanks. This was part of a contest so I don't think I'll be going back to edit it now though. Not a huge fan of Renault's new designs, but I respect French designers for their courage.

I used to want a LeCar when I was little. And in college a friend of mine owned a Renault Alliant (I think that's the name?) - odd little car. Had it's horn on the end of the turn signal stalk (or wiper stalk - one of them).

Oh - and sorry for the late response. Just getting used to this place.

When I was a kid I always wanted a LeCar. And in college a friend of my owned an Alliant (I think that's the name?). Odd little car - it's horn was on the end of the turn signal stalk and it sounded like a toy car.

Most of their current designs are a little too odd for me, but I respect French car designers.

Oh - and sorry for the delayed response. I'm still getting used to this place.
