While in Berlin for a few days, I saw the George Widener exhibtion at the Hamburger Bahnhof Museum for Contemporary Art. And what work it is!  But difficult to describe. Numbers, months, days of the week, “magic squares,” sometimes boat, plane and machine images are arranged in grids or columns and are often lined up in a way that Widener uses to analyze the present and predict the future.

There's a lot of info about him on the net and here is a
 LINK to the exhibition.

This piece is one of my favorites.

I looked him up and also watched a short video of him on youtube. Fascinating work. Thanks, Ken.
