March theme: Spring

Do you feel the breath of spring on your backs already? No?

Seeing as a lot of places in my country got quite a bit of snow in the last couple of days, I don't either.

Let's bring the spring to us then! What comes to your mind first when you think of spring? Warm sunlight? Melting snow, rivers breaking free of ice? The world waking up, blooming to life once again?

Show us your vision of what spring is!

Don't forget to credit all stock used and use only legitimate stock!

Only ONE entry per person per month. :)

To enter, turn in your deviation to the "March 2016 Challenge" gallery folder (Don't get this confused with the folder for regular art submissions, or we'll move challenge folders to Favorites instead of Gallery.)

Your entry must be made and submitted no earlier than March 2nd, 2016 and no later than 11:59 PM PT on March 31st, 2016.

Don't forget that the prize is a 3-month Core membership (or 1200 points, your choice) from Community Relations!

February Winner

I am very happy to announce that this month's winner is annewipf with her work Purple Jewels! Congratulations!

We will contact you soon regarding your prize!

legitimate stocks means from official stock websites, you can find some examples in this list: Stock sites, tutorials and Photomanip groups
The point is that you should have permission from the photographer to use their material for your manipulation. Images need not come from dA only, but definitely stay away from using images from google search.

Yes, exactly, since we want to make sure that artists respect others' copyrights. If you know that function, that's great. Many people don't and just assume google is fine. ;)
Either way, we won't accept "google" as credit though. Make sure that you remember the actual websites where you got the images from. :)
