A DD! Who'd a thunk that
An unbelievable amount of gratitude goes to Kaz D for the feature/nomination/whatever it takes to get a DD, and thanks to everyone else for all the views, faves and comments.
For those of you that are asking how I did this:
I drew the lines with a small pen torch while the shutter was held open using the bulb setting, in a darkened room. Before I started I set the camera to ISO-100 and f/16 and then I screwed off the head of the torch so that the bulb was naked. And then the experimenting began......
Thanks for your time.

This is one of the most amazing light painting I have seen in a while, and was instantly attracted by the not only the thumbnail of the image but by its catchy title.
I have light painted quite some time - and believe me, it's not child's play (seriously), and I really admire the work and effort the photographer has put in doing this.
I like the light painting very much, not only because it directly focuses on the main subject, but because it has something very special in it. I believe the shoes were correctly chosen, and the image might have looked very much weird on any other type of shoes.
Overall, I believe this image captures the very essence of light painting, and serves as an amazing light-painting inspiration for all photographers out there, including me.
