I've been actually doing a ton of spinning the last couple of months, first because I got a custom commission from a friend, and that gave me the resources to whip out several more for myself. I am so pleased with them--I think I was a bit stuck for a while, but having someone else picking out colors kind of gave me a jolt of new ideas.

I put together streams of pictures for myself to sort through a new book project. I write fantasy, and it's not only helpful for characterizing the people, but also the world they live in. The colors, textures, the way the words need to ring.
And DeviantArt is my best friend for finding just the right images in a sea of different images of simple things, like... Ladders. Hands. Girls in concrete cities.
