So thank you for the comments on Javert's first name. It was very informative and helped me a lot about making up my own version of it, not quite decided yet but mostly---.
Anyway, March 23rd (24th in Japan???) was the opening night of new Broadway version of Les Mis started. In Japan, we had this new production last year, 2013, from April to August or something and then came back in November for some special event. Unfortunately I could not manage to see it, but I got really depressed to hear that Javert no longer has his ponytail, and it was short! And I just got to know that in Broadway version Javert lost it also.

I have been always wondering about this. What is Javert's first name?
As you know, it is not said in the original novel, and I heard that there are some first name used in the movies, such as Emille or Etienne. But I would like to know what you think of as Javert's first name, and would like to know the reason why you choose it.
If possible, please write a comment on any of my drawings or give me a note on that. I would really appreciate it.
