Infrared I

Invisible Light made visible with a Hoya R72 infrared filter. This is experimental, because today it was way to windy to get really clean and sharp long exposures. But it's always the same story: as soon as a new toy found it's way into the backpack, one is forced to test it instantly ;).

First of all, i want to say that I really like this shot, but:

I saw how the clouds blur, so I took a look at the camera datas:
It says you had an shutter speed of 124 sec with f13 and ISO 100.
Did you also use an grey-filter?
Or did you use a light-less objective?
Or is it a wrong data?

Thanks for answering.

i've never seen IR done with a 30D... but I guess with a 2 min exposure you can get enough light!

i love the blue that you've hued in... nice tones!

I thought it was almost impossible to use IR on Canon cameras, cool!

The long exposure really softens the clouds. Wonderful shot. :)
