It has been a while! To those still watching, I thank you for sticking with us through our down period. Life gets hectic sometimes and dA has to take a backseat. But I've always wanted to revive Critique-It because I feel deviantART needs a vibrant critique community as much as it needs any other sort of community.
We will be re-opening our doors on February 1st! I'm re-launching the group as part of a year-long project devised to approach solutions to some of the issues that most people complain about on dA. People have a lot to say about critique on dA, and one of the chief complaints is that there just isn't enough of it. At Critique-It, we aim to change that by providing deviants from all galleries with the opportunity to give and receive constructive feedback.
On February 1st, I'll be posting a blog detailing launch celebrations. Between now and then I'll be posting several blogs about membership, affiliation, and general rules. If you plan to be active in the group (and I sincerely hope you do!) please take the time to read those blogs before the 1st. I want to be able to hit the ground running in February, and that will be much easier if everyone is up to speed with how the group works.
Membership is open to everyone and all applications are auto-approved. I highly recommend you tell your friends about us!
Excellent, glad to see you're back exactly as I decide to come back! Looking forward to it
there is no question. out of all that is missing on dA and can be approved, nothing is lacking more than critiques! i love critique it! when are you affiliating?
Yay your back! It would be interesting to see what's coming up!
dA certainly could benefit from a more active critique community, and I'm glad we are starting up again here.
I think DA needs a vibrant critique community more than any other community otherwise how can you really call it an art site? (I refer to it as an art based social networking site)
