1. What are you on dA for?
It's a nice place for sharing artwork. It helps keep me motivated to create art and I was hoping to be able to get some feedback at times to help me to continue to improve.
2. Who is your favorite dA member and why?
I can't say I have a particular favorite. There are lots of talented people around on dA.
3. Tell us a bit about yourself!
I've been drawing since I can remember (I'm one of those people that would get in trouble from sketching in the exercise book margins in non-art subjects at school). I do write occasionally but most often I draw. Pencil is my favorite traditional medium and I have started playing with digital as well since I bought a small tablet earlier this year. Favorite subjects are animals and fantasy type critters (dragons, unicorns, hippocampus etc).
4. Why did you join *Critique-It?
I think the group is a fantastic idea. A place for people to join if they want to get some constructive feedback on their own work and help others improve their own.
5. What's your favorite piece from your gallery? Why do you like it so much?
That's hard. I'd probably have to pick Deeper Blue. It's simple but flowing and reminds me of gliding through the ocean.
6. Do you give critique? Why or why not?
If I've got something to say and critique has been asked for I may. As long as it's constructive, I usually appreciate comments myself. I think it lets you see how others have viewed a piece and get an idea of the potential strengths and weaknesses that you can choose to work on if you decide to take the comments on board.
