1. What are you on dA for?

I am on DA for several reason. I wanted somewhere to put my art where it's more open and not rotting in my closet with the other sketchbooks. I wanted to work with people who can help me improve and better my social skills (I'm shy IRL and have trouble starting conversations).

2. Who is your favorite dA member and why?

I only recently started getting into forums and the social aspects of the site (I had a different, now dead account for a couple years and never crawled past the galleries), so I don't really have a wide range to choose from. If I had to pick, though, I find `laurart to be nice and funny and I think `MurkHellsing is hilarious, so those two I guess.

3. Tell us a bit about yourself!

I'm fourteen and I'm a sophomore in high school. I like to talk and can ramble for hours, but I don't really find things I know enough about to talk of. I do traditional art mostly, but a lot is rough or won't scan well, so there's not much in my gallery.

4. Why did you join *Critique-It?

I joined *Critique-It because critiquing is important for growth. It helps the artist you critique and can improve one's own analysis and writing skills. These skills are things I need to brush up on, so that was a bonus.

5. What is your favorite piece from your gallery? Why do you like it so much?

My favorite piece in my gallery is Why You Little because I actually tried harder on it than I usually did at the time. It's not my favorite piece ever, and I plan on redoing and resubmitting it, but it made me slow down and use a reference.

6. Do you give critique? Why or why not?

I try to give critique. Not really to many people I watch, but to a lot of beginning pencillers who still need a lot of help with anatomy and such. I'm not that good yet, so I mostly direct them to try out tutorials instead of giving direct ways to fix some of the harder mistakes. I critique because I want to help out and it helps me to write better, even though it's not a hobby of mine.

We hope you enjoyed this interview. Please spend a few moments browsing ~Taylor-Tot gallery!
