1. What are you on dA for?
To enjoy people's work, and once in a while, share some of my own. Most of what I post is fanart and fanfiction, completely unrelated to my writing career. (Unfortunately, putting prose online usually means a no-sale to magazines.)
2. Who is your favorite dA member and why?
My friend, =B2Topaz She's always kind and helpful, and her copic drawings are super cute.
3. Tell us a bit about yourself!
I'm a semi-professional short story author, with three pro sales in various magazines and a couple Honorable Mentions from Writers of the Future. I also attended Clarion West Writing Workshop this past summer.
4. Why did you join *Critique-It?
I've had a lot of experience with critiquing fiction, so I'm hoping I can provide some helpful feedback to the members of the group.
5. What's your favorite piece from your gallery? Why do you like it so much?
I like this piece:
This was written for a contest, and I loved the idea of Summer and Winter being characters who actually talk to each other. I also like the idea of poetry being presented in an artistic way (in this case, the text fading as spring gets closer.) It's definitely something I'd like to play with more.
6. Do you give critique? Why or why not?
Usually, I only critique literature, because that's what my strength is. I only want to critique pieces I feel I can help improve, otherwise my critique isn't very useful.
