This picture could have been better had the person either looked more terrified, or looked entirely calm. The idea of confronting oblivion with a terrified expression is intriguing. However, it is overused. People often are terrified of oblivion, but blow it off calmly, and just accept it. Oblivion is often thought of as black, and it hits home with some people, but it is unoriginal as well. White would have worked better, in my opinion. And while it makes sense that person would slowly meld into oblivion, it didn't come out in the picture very well. Honestly, it looks like makeup. I do happen to like your work, though.

I would like to use this as a reference photo for a painting given proper credit where it is due with your permission.
