The moment I saw the image I was knew instantly that I liked it! I believe images like these somehow reflect a more modern approach on fashion photography with a touch of the classic fashion - girls wearing hats that look absolutely elegant and chic.

The black and white approach is definitely worth it. Although I only see such an image as being either black and white, pure red or maybe red and white.

Over-all it's an amazing picture and definitely worth a <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/p/p…" width="15" height="16" alt=":+fav:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="194" title="+fav"/> I just think it would have looked better if her eyes weren't that visible, which would have given a more illusive appearance.
Love it anyhow. Keep it up! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>

This is a real eye-catching photograph. I can honestly say that I have not seen anything quite like it. I am not an art critic, but I cannot see anything wrong with it.

Simple, elegant and mysterious at the same time. In my opinion this is the best photograph in you gallery.

Simplest of effects are often the most powerful ones. I like the way you have kept this free of details like jewelry or patterns in her dress not to distract the focus from the model. Looking at the picture with its title in mind also offers room for interpretations. In my books, such food for thought in a picture is always a good sign, this being no exception.

how can black be so powerful - love the way it frames that thin sliver of skin

An elegant & graceful pose & image.
Perfect control of lighting & love the shadow across her face...
Reminds me of 40's & 50's Vogue or vintage Hollywood/Hurrell
Bravo
