Philosopher Pimp: I would consider it a human genetic inclination to see beauty in simple mathematical forms like spheres, cones, and rectangles, and compositionally I can see a relationship to artists that thought more in terms of pure simple geometry like Mondrian and Malevich. Besides this I also have a personal appreciation of the implied subject matter.
Craig: The subject matter was given to me as part of the research I did for a vacation trip to the Black Hills area in South Dakota. Deadwood has a long history of prostitution that began before it was officially a town. While prostitution was illegal the law largely looked away until around 1980 when a bunch of haters rallied and closed a bunch of bordello doors. I suspect that prostitution is still their, but much more underground.
Crigger the Trigger: That girls HOT! I wanna DO her!
Craig: She’s not real you know…
Crigger the Trigger: I’m not that picky if she’s real or not.
