Taken at my bird feeder in Chippewa County Wisconsin by me with my Nikon Cool Pix L820 Winter 2014-2015.

Thank you in advance for all favorites, comments and watches. I wish I had the time to thank each and every one of you but the only way I have time to make art and show it is to put the thank yous in the description. I instead find it better suited to try and have conversations with as many of you as I possibly can. If you're a watcher feel free to send me a note with some suggestions for future features. You can send me a few of yours, a few of your friends, or a few of underappreciated artists. I really love to find new underappreciated artists.

Critique's are encouraged :D (Big Grin)

I used this under a deviation and although I am not religious, I do not doubt that something larger and wiser than humanity may have had a hand in all this wonder.  Looking at your bird, I felt that feeling of joy so many things provide, so I'm returning it - with thanks.

A
cold wind blows, ruffling her feathers
and she shivers.
Behind it, the rising warmth coming
from the edge of her world reaches her
she flutters in the pure, sweet joy of it
and starts to sing a song of happy anticipation
of another day, another minute, another second
of life.

Infinity smiles, as it has since the first time,
eternities ago, that it heard her sing
and decided that the Abyss would never,
never, never have this little songstress.

Infinity smiled, the Abyss raged
and the singing bird ignored them both.

There was food to eat, songs to sing and
flying to do. Life was too precious to
waste.

Infinity smiles, the Abyss rages
and she sings - forever.
