MORTAL KOMBAT (1992)

October 8th 2022 marks the 30th Anniversary of MORTAL KOMBAT. I first played the game as a kid when it was still brand new in the arcades. I loved it the day I played it and not much has changed in that regard in three decades.

I spent quite a long time on this piece. It was definitely a passion project. The character layout is based on the MK1 Character Select screen complete with left-facing dragon (as the moon). I wanted to remake the logo myself but keep the vibe of the original. Hope you like it!
