One of the most recent creations in my strange and gentle cephalopod series.  This beast was originally made in 2018 and displayed in the Wildling Museum of Nature. A few modifications were added in 2019.

This fellow and 9 others will be available to subscribers of my notification list Saturday October 5th. If you'd like to watch or participate you can add your email at www.ellenjewettsculpture.com

Cheers!

Your sculptures are pure magnificence. If I were richer I would definitely have your art. Sadly I can only afford to admire your exceptional detail and skill through your polished photographs. You're definitely a muse of inspiration and skill goals!

BTW what are the dimensions of your sculptures? I noticed they are polymer clay...and do you utilize a wire skeleton beneath?

Amazing work as always! The vine/root/feather/scale construct in a shape of an octopus is bewildering to observe. I also prefer the lighter background on this one :)
