Beasts of Avalon: Manticore (RE-REDESIGN)

Prowling within the dark forests of Avalon lurks the deadly and patient manticore. It stays in the shadows of the woods, waiting for tasty, unaware morsels to enter its large, serrated jaws. The beast is armed with a tail that is covered in sharp quills, which it can shoot from. With these deadly weapons, the manticore can impale prey and foes alike from a long distance. The manticore is also armed with curved claws, three rows of small but sharp teeth, and a cunning intellect that can even outsmart the most skilled beast knights in the order.
