TFP: RibbonTail Ref (New Design/2025)

It's been awhile since I gave one of my ocs a new design, and well, RibbonTail has been needing a new design for a while. And so I have redesign my old TF Oc.

Honestly, she looks so much better from the old design I made. Maybe it's because I had more time to design her and really dig deeper with what I wanted for her.

This is due to her being an Oc for a closed/openish sub species called Unicronians an artist had made years ago. But it's been so quiet and I don't know if it's still going on or it's abandoned.. So I took a chance and redesign her, changing her backstory and well, made the sub species, Unicronians in this case, a species of importance in my TFP AU. (I hope that is okay with the artist and at this point I wanted to rewrite Ribbon's story and give her the love she deserves. I may also design the Unicronian species of my own but that's up in the air to think about. )

So yeah! Ribbon has changed a lot and now she is a hybrid, a hybrid of what? well, she is half Cybertronian and half Unicronian. Yay! XD

Now I'll share some info about her (this may change in the future depending on my story and where it goes):

-An orphan, doesn't know what happened to her creators or if they are still alive...

- Has jumped from different jobs on Cybertron but it's be difficult for her and other Cybertronians don't like having someone like her around, fearing the rumors are true about Unicronians..

-Has a hungry that she has to deal with (Unfortunately, a flaw with the Unicronians) but thankfully, has been able to control it.. but temptation does crawl up sometimes..and she is surrounded by her food... Cybertronians..

-But thankfully, has found a place to work at with the help of a friend. Thank Primus as she would of become a gladiator forcefully.

-She has a few friends, though, she doesn't believe that they are her friends, believes that she will be alone till the day she dies.. but she's wrong about that..

-Everything was fine till the fall of Cybertron began... she was forced to join in the war no matter who it was, in this case the Autobots.

-Works as a scout with the Autobots, she's very good at stalking her targets and finding things.

-Met an Autobot trainee there and they became friends.. she wishes to see him again, hoping he's still alive..

- As she was on Cybertron, something happened in which a mission she was in went wrong and was captured but by some miracle, she landed on a planet called Earth and that is where she met Optimus's team there...

- She was a loner on Earth but time and time again, she would cross paths with the Autobots with their human friends and can't never be left alone. Figuring out a way to get back to Cybertron.

-But she opened up a little to them, but just for a while... she.. doesn't want to feel attached to anyone at the moment..

-She's a tough warrior, has fought a lot when she was on Cybertron, so she is able to handle herself in battle.

-Fights feral, using her claws and tail in combat and she does bite, careful, her teeth are like knives and the bite down is hard enough to bite off something clean off.

- As time goes on with her being on Earth, she has a little team of her own, mainly consisting of her friend and a stranger creature like Cybertronian with no memories of who they are... They are a lot for Ribbon, but.. she wouldn't abandoned them.

-However, she would have to deal with many enemies on Earth, like the Deceptions, mostly Megatron, a human organization called M.E.C.H, a bounty hunter and... the creation that is her 'sibling'...

So yeah, that's RibbonTail, I hope you guys enjoy the info I shared and Ribbon's new design. It's so much cleaner and the colors fit her so much better than what she had before. I'm just really proud of this new design and that it fits her just right. :3

Can't wait to draw her!!
