Lucy Ref (NEW) (SketchQuest)

I'm having too much fun on designing characters. X3

So, here is the next redesign of my Ocs, Lucy.

Lucy got a full blown makeover since her old design wasn't the best. This new design is much better for her.

So her design was inspired by Puerto Rican culture and Japanese culture. I combine the two in the design. 

She now has marks on her face. It is due to the species she is. 

Lucy's color scheme has changed from dark brown to a light brown.

Her hair style has changed and I gave her a long ponytail and sharp bangs on her. 

Has a long tail now than a normal wolf tail. 

She is not a wolf anymore, she is an Inari Fox.

Here are some facts about her:

An Inari Fox is a magical fox that has a long tail and has red marks on their face. They come only in white and brown colors in fur.

Inari Foxes are like the cousin species to the Kitsunes, but there are so many differences between the two.

For example, unlike the Kitsunes, the Inari Fox can only do one magic ability, their bodies can't handle other magic abilities, so they just learn one ability. 

Lucy lives in her small village by the beachside, she is the oldest in her family and has a brother and sister in which are young in age. She lost her parents to a terrible storm....so she has to be a parent to her siblings, thankfully, her village was able to help her but she needed to do more for her siblings.

So Lucy came to the floating city, Central to find work. She was able to find Socrates's Inn and get a job in the kitchen. 

Lucy loves to cook, she enjoys making and creating new kinds of food. Whenever she has a food idea, she will be making it and testing it till it's perfect. 

Not only that, she knows how to make foods that can serve as medicine, she is able to help guests in the inn who are ill.

Seeing this amazing talent Lucy has, Socrates gave her the job of chef and she has been making delicious food and curing food meals to the guests, his inn became popular to everyone. 

Lucy has a few friends in the kitchen. But her closest friend is Apollo since he helped her out with getting some good ingredients. However, it's more than that and honestly they are very close with each other. 

Lucy met Alice when she came to Socrates's inn to find work, they were both teens back then. However, Lucy only saw Alice hiding around the inn, not really coming out to see people.

But that changed when she and Lucy were in the kitchen, Lucy was working on new foods and Alice was getting a quick snack, but she found Lucy's testing food. She tried some and love the taste of it, Lucy was happy to hear that and little by little, they became good friends.  

Lucy is like a big sister to Alice due to her experience with her younger siblings, she worries about Alice and does try to get her to open up to other creatures. But when it comes to creatures like Clove...well, her protective sister mode comes on and mostly ends in a fight. 

Lucy may seem fragile in looks, but she is a tough her, she took care of her siblings and works in the kitchen, she knows how to use a knife. So beware... XD

She is a kind and brave Inari Fox, she cares about her family, blood-related or not, she sees you as family. She tries to do what she can to help others out, I think this is what makes Alice the person that she is and what got her to explore the unknown...

Also, she wears a mask that looks like a demon but it's actually a mask that honors the celebration they have in their village, which celebrates the defeat of evil spirits and demons that tried to attack Lucy's village. The mask was a gift from her village and she carries it around for protection. Wears it sometimes to scare of...unwanted guests. 

Her one magic ability is creating fire, she is able to conjure up flames when need be, but she is careful when she uses it, doesn't want to burn the inn down on accident. 

Her favorite meal that she makes are rice with cooked red snapper and tostones. ( Please look up tostones, it's a tasty food you may like. X3 )

Fun fact: Her siblings miss her a lot, so they come to visit her sometimes, but these two are energetic and can cause mischief around other creatures, Socrates would be chasing after them till Lucy catches her siblings. This takes at least an hour till Lucy comes to get her siblings. XD

I hope you guys like the new design, I'm happy with the new design for Lucy, she looks much better. I'm also happy to be able to combine my two favorite cultures together to make a design for her. X3
