Design Refs: Bellomy (Ben 10 AU/SQ)

Well, a change in pace for me, I reconnected back to an old cartoon series I remember watching as a kid. And I honestly forgot how much fun it was. The Ben 10 series well not perfect, it was nice seeing ideas play out and arcs being done in some of the series ( Which I didn't think was an arc, surprised me lol XD ). But I remember loving the alien designs they had, my most favorite alien would be the Ectonurite. Come on, a ghost alien, that's pretty interesting concept. X3

So after rewatching the first series and moving forward with the othes, I decided to make an Oc, I honestly enjoy playing around with design him and it was a bit hard for me but after some time and designing, I'm pretty happy with the results. Not to mention, this became a bigger ref for me because of the Ben 10 Series and how the art style changed, which honestly, really made me try to do them in the art styles, I'm proud of that.  

Now it's time for you guys to meet Bellomy. I'm going to separate two bios for him since I decided he would be a part of the SketchQuest AU, not just in the Ben 10 AU storyline. :3

Ben 10 AU:
 
Let's start with the Classic Ben series, that would be the first series, Ben 10:


Bellomy is an Ectonurite loner that has amnesia, he can't remember much of his past or remember how he ended up on Earth. He lived in an abandoned mine town in Utah. He doesn't see much people and when he gets close, they would run away, screaming of a ghost haunting the mines. Bellomy was alone and had no one to help him. But that was to change with two kids. 

Bellomy is a shy and cautious Ectonurite that is careful and protective of his new friends, a shy but creative artist named Alice Night and a mean rebel 
named Bon N. Mare, but Bon for short. The three traveled together as they get into some adventures trying to get back home and to help Bellomy remember his past. 

Though, strangely, Alice did ask about his hand and his arm what that black stuff was. Bellomy could only shrug as he wasn't sure what it was but it felt like... it was apart of him... it didn't seem serious... at least it didn't back then...

As they travel, they learn about alien heroes helping people out in different states, they think that maybe they can help Bellomy, so they go to find one, until they discovered that all the alien heroes were a 10 year old Ben with the a strange watch called the Omnitrix. 

Bellomy wasn't really friends with the boy as the boy couldn't help him with his problem and it didn't help that Ben called him weird, but his cousin and grandfather tried but nothing helped. Bellomy felt like he would never know who he is or why he ended up here...but Alice and Bon...his friends weren't going to give up.

Moving to the second and third series, Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (They're together due to them having the same art style and continue the series):


Years went by as the kids grew older and Bellomy's black hand began to spread out to his body and his arm changed to something else...something not normal to his species. 

With Ben now being a teenage hero, he's busy with helping people out and fighting against evil, Alice and Bon were on their own as they tried to figure out on what to do to stop the spread on Bellomy. 

Along the way, they meet new friends and Bellomy meets someone... someone he felt a connection to...

Soon Bellomy is able to gain his memories back...it was hard for him... he didn't think there was so much that happened to him...his family and why his arm is cursed... but he doesn't let it stop him as he tries his new power and learns to control it with the help of his friends.

Last and but not least, Ben 10: Omniverse:

After a lot of adventures, secrets revealed and new friends made in the way throughout the years,  Bellomy had become a protector to his species and to everyone else in Anur Transyl, he is still a loner as he works in the shadows making sure to stop the Ecto-Lord Zs'Skayr from repeat history again...

He still meets his friends and they help him out, even helping him come to the light for the residents of Anur Transyl to know their protector... for who he is...

SketchQuest AU:

During Alice and Bon's travels around each new world, they stumbled across a strange new world where aliens and mythical creatures live (The Ben 10 world). They land in a desert where there was an abandoned mine area. The two needed a place to rest, so they decided to sleep in a mine town near by. But they would soon know that they are not alone...

Surprised to see a ghost living in the abandoned mine town was something for Alice and Bon, Bon was ready to leave but Alice befriend the shy ghost as she would learn his name Bellomy. She wanted to help him with his memories as the poor ghost didn't remember anything, just that he lived in the mines for a long time. Bon wasn't too excited for Bellomy to come but Alice wasn't going to leave her new friend. So the three travel as they try to help Bellomy out with remembering his past. 

Learning about the new world and Bellomy's species, they met Ben and his family, who they tagged along with to help out and to help Bellomy remember something. Though it was strange for an Ectonurite to have a color mutation and a black like hand growing on him. They believed it was because of the earth and the environment Bellomy was in, which would explain the color mutation, but the black hand was something else that no one knew about.... But that was to change later...

Years passed as Alice would return back to this world...without her friend..partner Bon, Bellomy helped her out as they meet up with the hero Ben who grew up and was now a teenage. They get into some trouble but what was to come from all of this was the reveal of Bellomy's blacken arm that grew more into his body... a curse...

Bellomy's memories come back with the help of Alice and his new friends as he found out about his past and his curse... he soon realized that he had to fight to protect the people he cared for and to stop Zs'Skayr from repeating history again...

Well, this was a lot to write, my hands hurt lol. XD

But it's pretty close to the same with these two AU's but with a few changes in them, mostly with the SketchQuest AU. But I'm honestly love Bellomy and his character in them both.

I hope that you guys like it and hope the writing isn't too much, but I wanted to try to explain it to you guys, maybe I'll explain it more in my drawings and other writing, help flesh him out more in these AUs. But I can't wait to draw more of him when I get back from vacation. :3
