Azrael Ref (REDESIGN) (AzureHowl Reborn)

I was looking at my Ocs that I made and I saw Azrael's old design and honestly, he needed a redesign.

So, I got to work on it, looking at new colors and what can I add to him. After awhile of sketching and coloring, he looks so much better. X3

I'm really happy with his new design and this fits him much better.

For his colors, I looked at the Ghost Wolf Species guide and found the mutated pelts, I picked the white and purple that were there, after I colored Azrael, it really looked nice on him. 

I played with the mutated marking colors and mutated symbol colors, it was hard but in the end, the yellow looked nice on him and the light purple marking really popped, which is a good thing.

His symbol is an angel-like wing that is on both sides and it is fitting for his name. There's a little diamond symbol on where his fur marking is. 

Added a scar on him, it's under where his jaw is and across both his cheeks.

I changed his eye colors to purple than his blue eyes, it looks nicer on him. 

He now has a feather charm on him and he wears it on his neck. 

Really happy with the changes and he is just glowing. XD

Meet Azrael, a mutated Ghost wolf that is a loner.

He is a cheeky wolf who loves to joke around with passing travelers, but he doesn't push it to far with his jokes. 

He is caring and kind when you get to know him, he may act like a jokester, but he is a nice wolf.

He wears his feather charm that belong to his father that was given to him. He didn't understand why and why it meant a lot to his father but later on... he began to understand the meaning of the feather charm...

Doesn't have many friends, other wolves believe that the ghost wolves are no more, so when they see Azrael, they run away. Azrael can only sigh as he only wanted to meet them... but no one stays...

Being a loner is hard for him, but he can't go back home, he wouldn't call it home anymore, he lost his family and his pack to the Shadow Clans. 

But his cousin is alive and living somewhere else with other pack of survivors, he began his journey to find her, maybe he'll live with her pack. Hoping that he can find them...

He did the best he could to be strong and maybe, just maybe, find his cousin's pack or a place to rest, he realized that he needed to stay for the night. He arrived to the base of the woods, there were mountains and it is said that there would be a city near by.... he went into the woods as he walked slowly, feeling the mist on him. He stopped, he blinked, who's talking? He hid quickly as he looked to see two wolves, strange? A Cosmic wolf and a Psychic wolf together? That's something you don't see... Azrael watched them as he saw how happy they looked, within a few minutes of thinking, he followed them, maybe he could befriend them...maybe...

Introductions between the three wolves, went well.... kind of... He scared the girls as Maia readied herself to attack him but Azrael stopped her as he didn't mean to scare them. Though, he read Maia's mind on accident which creeped her out, he sheepishly apologized to her. Maia didn't trust him at first, but slowly, she let him come join them. Azrael chuckled as he spoke about them being a pack of mixed wolves, this would surprise a few wolves. 

As time when on, Maia and Azrael became good friends, helping each other out through the trauma and pain of losing their families and pack members and though their species are not the best together, they didn't care about that. They were strong together...

Maia and Azrael didn't think much about love but it seems that it was around them when they were together... 

Azrael is strong when it comes to combat, his skills improve a lot during his travels and his feather charm helps him a lot in battle. Him and Maia are probably the strongest warriors in the pack, well maybe for now...

Wow, I really had fun with redesigning him, it honestly makes him look better than before. Maybe I'll look to see who else in my AzureHowl Reborn Ocs need a redesign, we'll see. But till then, I hope to get a chance to draw him in his new look.
