Ava Ref (NEW) (SketchQuest)

First off, Happy Halloween everyone! Wish you guys a great Halloween night or morning. :3

Second, this was great timing when I finished my new redesign of one of my favorite Ocs I had. 

So here it the new redesign for one of my Ocs, Ava! 

Ava really needed a redesign and honestly I love this new design more than her old design.

Ava's design has changed a lot, she is no longer a Sphinx, she is now a witch. 

Looking back at her old design, there really wasn't an idea theme for her in design, so I looked into what theme I wanted to give her. 

I found some witch outfits and hats and so I used them as inspiration. 

Since she is a person and not a creature anymore, had to change the way she looked. 

She has long and messy hair with yellow roses on it. 

Eye color has changed from a yellow to a dark purple. 

Wears a long dress with ruffles on it and shows skin. 

Has a scar now on her shoulder to her chest. 

I fixed up her mask and made it more fitting to her design, than a quick drawing of it. 

Her color scheme is like the colors of her old ref but with added blues and purples into it.

Here are some facts about her:

She may look old but really, she's isn't that old. 

Witches like her can live long years and are close with nature, for it is an ally to their powers and spells. 

But witches are feared among people and are hunted down. That is why witches hide from the world they are in and don't reveal themselves to people.

Ava has lived a long life but still, as a witch, she had a job to do.

She has learned a lot about magic and the energy around nature, she is kind to nature and helps it out. 

Lives in a large house near a bay, she would study magic and potion making. She comes out of her home to head to the bay and walk on the sand in the beach and just enjoy the moment. 

Ava loves to travel around the world, loves to learn and take notes on the cultures she sees. In fact, she knows three languages, Spanish, Arabic and British.  

Living on planet Earth, was good for her, but when it comes to the giant Transformers in hiding or on Earth. Well, that's a different story, but one you may not think. 

Years ago, she was traveling in the desert, as she came to a village and stayed for a bit, that was till something attacked it. She helped the villagers the best she can without revealing herself as a witch. More help came as they were able to defeat whatever attacked the village. However, Ava was curious and went to search of whatever it was. As she found it, lying on the dunes of the desert near an oasis, bleeding energon as it, no, he struggled to get up from his wounds. This was the first time, young Ava met a young and stubborn scorpion bot named Scorponok. 

Ava and Scorponok became good friends, maybe even more.

Ava knows about the Transformers that lived on a planet called Cybertron, she knows about the war and how the factions were thanks, to Scorponok. But even with this information, she felt sadness as she didn't want her friend to go.... Sometimes she wished she'll help him in ways to protect him, but still... she knows the dangers it would bring to the both of them. 

Time passes on as she works on her spells alone in her house but then, she felt a presence in which she hadn't felt in a long time, not just one but two... One Cybertronian she knew and...a magic user... a mage. This was going to be interesting Ava thought. 

Ava is a kind and sweet witch who loves to be around others. 

She is brutal honesty with anyone she meets, but she's isn't saying it to be mean but a habit of hers. 

Don't be fooled for her height and as a witch, she is powerful. With the knowledge of magic and spells, it'll be hard for you to fight against her. 

Though, she doesn't want to fight, she wants to try to reason with the person or creature she is facing. 

She is able to perform rituals and spells to help others in need, to gain energy back that was lost. 

Ava uses a wand to cast and create magic. She hides it in her dress and in her mask. 

Ava is the Witch of Miracles and Luck.

Fun fact: Ava loves insects like Butterflies, but her favorite are arachnids like scorpions.

I hope you guys like the new design, I'm happy with the new design for Ava, she looks much better. I had a lot of fun with her outfit and with her hair.
