It's been a while since I've had the free time to work on my Snow White comic project. Basically, this came about from seeing the trailer and thinking, "Wow, this looks like Velma on steroids." Pure vitriol, spite and a hatred for those who grew up loving the original Disney animation. So I thought, why don't I see if I can tell a good Snow White story? So, the aims I'm hoping to hit are:

1. I want to prove that a female protagonist can be sweet and kind while remaining a strong character, i.e., strong doesn't have to equal unlikeable

2. I want to respect the source material, the Brother's Grimm tale it came from and the stories we loved growing up. So I've been looking into when and where it was set to get some ideas.

3. I want to prove that a story can be brought up to date while remaining faithful to its source.

Just like last time with the hair, I went looking at hairstyles from 1500s Germany as that was the setting of the original Brothers Grimm tale. And there were some beautiful hairstyles. I wanted to try a range of hairstyles. Let me know which one you think works best.
