I will only be writing more journals if something big and important happens! For any small updates, or any comments about how things are going over there, you can leave a comment or check the comment section of the group.
For now, I think Buzzly-Art is mostly good for people who want something like the Old Deviantart, and don't post anything controversial art-wise.
For anyone else, I recommend to give it a year to figure their policies out more clearly.
Also @brotherlyfluff made a new icon for the group, which I think is very nice!

BEE CREATIVE!

This is a group for fans and supporters of the upcoming art website Buzzly-Art, which is inspired by the Old DeviantArt, i.e. it has ACTUAL CATEGORIES, it has CUSTOM HTML, and has a NSFW toggle.

I'm trying to reach people who were interested in Artri-se and other dead projects for an Eclipse-free website, so if I pinged you with an invitation, that is the reason :-D

buzzly.art/ is online right now!

- Important: This is a SOFT release! A few features, i.e. groups, are still being developed, and won't be available at launch!
- Everyone who joins during this launch period will receive free premium memberships!

I don’t know what’s going on BA, but in the last several days, two more users have blocked me. Small update about the second mentioned user. She told me it was a dumb bug, and it’s not the first time as something like that happens. However, it made me feel uncomfortable because of what happened to me. It’s like I’m guilty and indebted to something I didn’t do. :X It made me feel like a criminal, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who experienced this. :grump:

Buzzly has been experiencing major technical difficulties. Is there anything I can do to help?

Only the developers can come up with big solutions to this, such as adjusting the website's server to handle deployment builds faster, scaling their services to allow more people to join, patching bugs, and so on.  If this is the type of help you want to offer, then you have to send an application to work for BuzzlyArt as a developer if you have professional credentials.  It's uncertain if they are even looking for more developers at this time, though, so your application could be rejected.  Spark is the only staff member I know of who has knowledge on web infrastructure, so they understand the difficulty of scaling up for server load.

If people want to help as regular members, they can continue sending bug reports at https://buzzly.art/site-tickets?status=open so the developers can fix them.  People can also donate money to help the developers afford server expenses for some time instead of paying it out of their pockets.

There is also a passive way to help by barely uploading or posting anything.  The fact I've only posted two artworks has actually helped BuzzlyArt's server.  People who post over 500 submissions are more likely to make a beta website's server slow down.  By the way, I'm not exaggerating when I say there really are some members who have posted over 500 submissions.  PokeMutt said this in a comment in the original Buzzly-Art group, but that comment disappeared when the group got deleted, so I'm sadly unable to show it.  There is also an influx of people joining now because Sheezy.Art is planning to shut down on March 1 according to https://sheezy.art/news/updates/2022-01-03/sheezy-art-is-shutting-down.

To anyone hoping to use SheezyArt as a replacement to Buzzy once they stabilize there servers and re-open to the public...

I had bad and sad news

As of a few days ago the site has anoused it will be closing down as of March
The full announcement and explanason can be found here: sheezy.art/news/updates/2022-0…

But the TDLR is that the site was originally a casual passion project for the Dev's but due to it's popularity had turned into a stress induseing full time job that the dev's coud'nt handle so they've decided to close the site as a result.

Hopefully ArtRi-se ArtSpacious or some other site will come in and become the competitor/replacement deviantart sorely needs, but in the meantime it seems those of us who find Buzzy to be a &#$%-Show will have to continue to use DA for the time being.

I was going to post a comment announcing this, but since you did it before me, thank you for telling people. Even though I was not going to join Sheezy.Art at https://sheezy.art/, I'm sad for the members who already had accounts there, and the potential members who were planning on moving there. Ryan, nicknamed Ry, is the one who built Sheezy.Art according to https://sheezy.art/rytoonist. He recently made a BuzzlyArt account at https://buzzly.art/~rytoonist. He also has a Twitter account at https://twitter.com/rytoonist. This means people will still be able to talk to him even after Sheezy.Art will shut down. If he gets enough money and motivation, I wonder if he will rebuild Sheezy.Art someday.

I hope that Sheezy, or another site like Sheezy comes one day.
However if it dos I hope that it can be built in a way that is sustainable with the expectation that a mass user influx will eventually happen. Cos if not the site will probobly die as a result.
...Also I hope that rytoonist aware of the shayness of BuzzyArt.

Happy New Year by KmyGraphic Happy New Year by KmyGraphic Happy New Year by KmyGraphic
:iconnewyearplz: I wish this group a much better year in 2022 than we've had in 2021!  May the world finally get out of the COVID-19 pandemic! :iconhappynewyear::iconfireworks-plz:

I mentioned recently that I got a notice from a staff member who edited one of my blogs.  Here is the explanation of what happened.  I received this notice:

"A staff member has notified you:
Regarding your FAQ blog “BuzzlyArt Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Part 1”, we’ve unfortunately found that part of it breaches our site’s Terms of Service (specifically section 3, XIV) for doxxing, otherwise known as publishing or posting someone’s private information.
The parts in question regard the safety of our staff members, with even the city of one being shown. While we understand that profiles can have ages and an about me section, it’s crucial that consent is given and private information still is not published by other parties for user safety.
We ask you to remove these quickly and efficiently. The time zones are absolutely fine, as we don’t mind users knowing when to contact us.
For more information as to why you’re receiving this post, we encourage you to read our Terms of Service. Again, the breached section was 3. ACCESS and point XIV that states, “You do not publish or post other people's private information (Also called doxxing)”. You’re also free to contact us using the following email as direct messages are still being implemented!
buzzlyart@gmail.com"

I am willing to say the staff member was polite in this notice.  There is nothing threatening here, so it's an improvement.  However, they still accused me of doxxing, which is concerning.  The definition of doxxing is to search for and publish private information about a person.  Methods employed to acquire such information include searching publicly available databases and social media websites, hacking, social engineering, and searching websites specialized in revealing IP addresses.  Examples of doxxing include revealing very specific and personal information about a person, such as their real name, address, phone number, Social Security number, bank account number, credit card number, personal photographs, etc. with the intent of hurting that person.  This is the first time someone accuses me of doxxing, so I'm shocked. :o I really did not have any intention of hurting the three founders.

The staff member contradicted themself by saying the time zones are absolutely fine as the admins don't mind users knowing when to contact them.  But for some strange reason, they removed PokeMutt's time zone anyway from my blog for doxxing.  I'm guessing they made a mistake, but it also concerns me that they quickly remove things that they claim are totally fine to have.  For those wondering, PokeMutt's time zone is Mexican Pacific Standard Time.  Also, the staff member told me to remove this information quickly and efficiently.  However, they edited my blog before I even had a chance to do it.  So what's the point of telling me to remove it?

The other things the staff member removed from my blog include PokeMutt's country and birthday; ChStark's city, country, and birthday; and VayMutt's country and birthday.  All these things for PokeMutt and VayMutt can easily be found on the top left of their BuzzlyArt profiles at https://buzzly.art/~RedArcanine and https://buzzly.art/~VayMutt.  They also have their countries on their DeviantArt profiles at www.deviantart.com/pokemutt and www.deviantart.com/vaymutt.  Even though DeviantArt has been losing popularity, it's still estimated there are millions of members here who could see that information.  I asked ChStark if it's fine to include his city, country, and birthday in my blog.  He said it's okay to share all that information.  Therefore, I can include the things the staff member removed about ChStark, which is he lives in Nuevo León, Mexico, and he was born on April 10.  His country is on his BuzzlyArt and DeviantArt profiles at https://buzzly.art/~ChStark and www.deviantart.com/chstark, his birthday is on his DeviantArt profile, and his city is in BuzzlyArt's Discord server at discordapp.com/channels/876016….  It's a public Discord server available for anyone at least age 13, so this information is not private.  In addition, VayMutt has mentioned at least four times that PokeMutt lives in Mexico, and at least twice that both developers live in Mexico in the Discord server.  When VayMutt says it, the staff members are fine with it.  I'm not sure why it's doxxing when I do it in a blog. :grump: In addition, the bottom of the Terms of Service say:

"12. GOVERNING LAW
This Terms of Service shall be governed by and in accordance with the internal laws of the country of Mexico."

Normally websites follow the laws of the countries where their founders live.  In this case, the two developers, PokeMutt and ChStark, live in Mexico.  Therefore, it's publicly known that BuzzlyArt follows Mexico's laws.  That's not some big secret.  It must actually be public so that members know which laws to follow at BuzzlyArt!

I'm 90% certain I know which staff member sent me this notice.  No, it's not Sarrynn/Disaster/Volatus.  It's someone else based on clues I gathered, but I will keep them anonymous out of respect.

When I told ChStark that a staff member accused me of doxxing him, he said the current generation is too crystal.  He likely means this young generation is too fragile.  Then he told me he was born in 1989, which implies he's older and wiser.  Since he told me his birth year in an e-mail, which is not public, I got his permission to reveal it.  Therefore, I'm not doxxing him.  Actually, I even know his full name now because he gave me his e-mail address, so I saw his full name when I received his replies!  I will not mention it here, but it's to show how comfortable he is with sharing his information to BuzzlyArt members.  I'm saddened that the staff member who sent me the notice did not even ask ChStark himself if he feels doxxed.  They decided for him that he must feel doxxed, so his "private" information must be removed for his "user safety".  I'm sorry, but this is disrespectful towards him.  Nobody can make decisions on behalf of ChStark except for himself, or someone who has his permission to represent him, such as a lawyer.  Not only that, but I've had several conversations with him, and he's excited that I'm going to include his Pokémon UNITE trainer ID is 2Y5M6PQ.  He even told me I can add something like, "ChStark wants to achieve Master Rank, if you can help him add it as a friend and battle with him."  If I include his city, country, full birthday, and Pokémon UNITE trainer ID to my blog, I'm anxious that a staff member will unfairly delete the entire blog, and give me a strike or suspension this time for doxxing. :X This is why I've been hesitant to add his information, and generally inactive at BuzzlyArt. :(

By the way, ticket numbers are visible, so I know the notice I received on December 12, 2021 is ticket #1385.  Some people, including me, were worried that this number was for notices, strikes, suspensions, and bans.  PokeMutt told me the reason the number is so big is because it also includes bug reports, feature requests, member reports, submission reports, and other unseen tickets.  As of December 29, 2021, he said there are currently around 1,500 tickets, which 275 of those are notices, and 40 of those are strikes.

Do you people consider what I did to be doxxing?  Let me know what you people think!

I want to share the FAQs blogs I posted to help people, so please look at them if you have questions about BuzzlyArt.  A bunch of these were answered by admins.  The reason I am sharing them is because I worked hard on them.  However, I am very saddened about BuzzlyArt's management.:iconsadcutieplz:

What the heck? What kind of crap is this? i have a very simple answer to this :
They got proof you did ? No. So they need to stfu about it.
This site is fucked up before it becomes a success. Pokemutt should have done a better research before launching. His team is a total failure And they keep proving that over and over.

I'm also replying to what you said at www.deviantart.com/comments/1/…. :) True, I would not want to dox someone!  Even if it's people like the two highest ranking staff members of BuzzlyArt that I have major criticisms of, I still would not dox them.  It's terrifying when victims realize that doxxers have publicly revealed their addresses, Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, and so on.  Real doxxing can lead to criminal harassment, stalking, identity theft, job loss, injury, or even death, which are all illegal and punishable.  I did research on this, and found out countries have different laws about doxxing.  Some consider it illegal, while others consider it legal if the information was obtained through legal methods.  However, even legal doxxing is still frowned upon as morally unethical.  In addition, even countries with legal doxxing can still punish people if they commit crimes, such as harassment, stalking, or other illegal ways of hurting victims.

El-Thorvaldo said that false accusations of doxxing like the notice I received can lead to legal repercussions at www.deviantart.com/comments/4/….  You also mentioned that false accusations like this can get BuzzlyArt in a lot of trouble.  I need to find out more legal information about this.  If you know more about this, please share!

It absolutely sucks that fools accuse you of art theft.  I think the main reason they do that is because you tell art thieves that they stole art.  They don't want to admit it, so they accuse you of doing it, right?  It sounds like a psychological tactic called projection, which occurs when a person with a certain flaw accuses someone else of having their own flaw. A long time ago, someone accused me of stealing a Pokémon avatar I had made at DeviantArt.  The dumbass even went around telling others I had stolen the avatar. :X But like you said, as soon as we tell them to show the proof, dumbasses like them have no proof, so they shut up in humiliation!  That's a win for us! :'D :iconepicboogieplz:

Possible, but I provide proof with image reversing sites. But even people I never ever spoke to. I always think itís pure jealousy because they cannot paint like I do. Most are MS paint artists with kiddy art or as you said, stolen art.

Before, I was frustrated.
Now, I'm frightened.
Genuine doxxing approaches criminal harassment; accusations like these invite legal repercussions. That a moderator would throw around doxxing charges, especially when the cited information is publicly available from the user themself, is downright malicious.
This isn't just gunning for missteps. This is laying man-traps.
Your correspondence with ChStark seems to confirm that the site runners don't have control over their staff. PokeMutt previously stated he'd be happy to hire a full-time legal team... if the tail keeps wagging the dog like this, he may very well have to. HAV - Tom Longboat 2

I was already frightened back in November with things I witnessed with my own eyes going on at BuzzlyArt, but I'm grateful there are people who are realizing more things now of what's going on. I need to know more about what you said. I've been on the Internet for years, and this is the first time anyone accusing me of doxxing, so it's certainly a new experience. I just got a notice as a warning. However, if the staff members truly think this is doxxing, they could proceed to punishments later like a strike, suspension, or a ban if I do it again. I am unfamiliar with the legal repercussions, especially since BuzzlyArt is operated with Mexico's laws. I personally won't file a lawsuit for this. However, some people could be highly offended from such an accusation, and could take it a step further to sue the company. There are ways people and their lawyers can file lawsuits against foreign companies. Do you think BuzzlyArt could suffer legal consequences from this, and be required to compensate a victim from a judge's decision in a tribunal? I'm not sure if that would be too major or not for being wrongly accused of doxxing.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I suspect that the staff members rarely communicate with ChStark. :( I may not know everything about the admins, but in this situation, the staff member and ChStark have very different opinions on what is fine to show publicly. I posted more on what I think about a legal team, and how the BuzzlyArt admins can still gain legal knowledge despite their lack of money at https://www.deviantart.com/comments/4/72933547/4961424794.

I don't think Buzzly is on the hook as a company (yet); in my opinion the doxxing charge is mostly bluster by a hot-headed hall monitor, but I'm concerned that if left unchecked, this Judge Dredd attitude may snowball into someone taking formal legal action, and that would lead to countersuits for defamation. I don't think this is an imminent threat, but this is precisely why I've been kvetching about Buzzly's (lack of) procedure: PokeMutt et al. shouldn't wake up one day and learn [insert nemesis staff member] has to step down because they have a court summons.
And that'd be a much worse PR disaster than hiding critical comments on your weblog.

That is a load of bullshit! If you were not involved with something like this, then it's pointless to do this to you. I won't be using the website after hearing this. They have no proof that you doxxed someone. Tell poke mutt what happened. He has a database of logs sent by the management to you. This is another perfect example of severe repression towards the user base. The website is turning into Reddit 2.0. Speaking of Reddit, I was kicked from a sub-community called YouTube because I used the word retard. Fuck censorship and their retarded moderators. :x

I know, right? :ohnoes: I've spent years on the Internet, and this is the first time someone accuses me of doxxing! Someone could merely say, "PokeMutt lives in Mexico," and suddenly the staff members would remove this supposedly secret information, and send a notice to the person to tell them they doxxed. And if the person does it again, it'll likely be a strike or worse the next time! Mexico is a huge country. Random people have no idea exactly in which house or apartment PokeMutt lives in, so it's not doxxing. Doxxing is far more personal and specific to individual people with the intent to cause them real harm. And even with ChStark's city, he's fine with his information being public. I got his permission in e-mails. There are many things I need to discuss with PokeMutt, including this.
Oh, that sucks. :( Did you get banned from https://www.reddit.com/r/youtube/? It's a coincidence you mentioned this because I recently had a conversation with ChStark in which he told me it's horrible how the mods at Reddit delete his posts and comments all the time. He knows how it feels! I don't know much about YouTube since I don't post videos to my channel. For years I have used my YouTube account to watch other people's videos. However, I've heard content creators complain about how YouTube unfairly deletes their videos and gives them strikes for bad reasons. They simply have some opinions that the YouTube mods don't like, which certainly sounds like censorship. :( I did some research, and found out that strikes at YouTube only last 90 days or three months according to:
Three strikes in the same period of 90 days results in a channel being permanently removed from YouTube. I was not aware of this before today because I thought strikes at YouTube were indefinite. I have not seen any time frame for strikes at BuzzlyArt, which implies they remain indefinitely unless the person can prove their innocence.

Yep, I was banned from that community because one of their dimwits didn't like the word I used. It does not surprise me to hear this because shitty social justice warriors run YouTube. Someone made an algorithm that censors everything you write on YouTube. :grump: What they did to you is a false accusation. They have no evidence of what you did.
