So I took the year off last year due to moving out and just not having the money. However not missing another year. Due to living on and managing a farm and working a full time job my time to work on costumes has been very small. So nothing super awesome this year but doing a few easy costumes so I can enjoy the con.

Sat- Sasha/ Attack on Titan,
Sun- Who knows something easy to go home in
I've had a few people ask me how this was done mainly how I attached the blade to the pole to make it look like one whole piece. WELLL I figured I'd do a quick how to. This is not going to be as lengthy as my Erza one ( I hope).
First the materials used. Pink insulation foam, Wooden rod, pvc pipe and a wooden edge piece for wood floors.
The blade and back part are made from pink insulation foam that was then covered in 2 Layers of Gesso. (You will want at least 3-4 layers for bondo I found out later)
The hardest part of this prop was getting it to attach and figuring out how the heck I could keep the pieces together. I came up
Irene came and thankfully left. Not to much damage done here in PA , NC got the worst of it. We had a TON of power outages, flooding and broken trees everywhere. Just got power back today after losing it Late Sat.We were out of power for 24+hours not sure on the exact time. Can I just say how hard it is to live normally with out electric. Forget computers and other things you can't even shower or brush your teeth as we had no running water. To flush are toilets we were taking water from are pool to use to flush. Talk about ruffing it. Driving anywhere was fun a lot of traffic lights were out and trees all over the road. A lot of places won
